Batman Arkham City – Meet the Team

One of my favourite games ever has to have been Batman Arkham Asylum and now that the Batman Arkham City release date has been announced for October I am feeling quite excited about the whole thing. Videos are flying out on a regular basis about the game and I just heard that it’s going to sully support 3D televisions.

So far there are four introductory videos for some of the characters you will meet in the game. Some are back from Batman Arkham Asylum and a couple are new, so here goes.

Riddler

Riddler, otherwise known as Edward Nigma, made an appearance in Arkham Asylum giving Batman some not so complicated riddles to solve. He’s back and has the sole intention of proving that he is better than Batman. It’s the usual story though, eventually his clues lead Batman straight to him.

Mr Freeze

Mr Freeze made a very quick appearance in the first game and I felt slightly annoyed about it. The room or cell he was in looked great but it was a very brief encounter before taking on a room of thugs and Harley Quinn.

Catwoman

Enter one of the playable characters in the game, Catwoman. Through the above video you will see some game play section and I love the way Rocksteady have presented here. Catwoman was always too clean for me but this time she has been roughed up a bit.

Penguin

I love this video. Penguin’s lesser know name is Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot and he is a proper London geezer and is ready to give Batman the time of his life.

If you’re in the market for Batman Arkham City then make sure you shop around. There are special editions and some places offer Robin  as a playable character in the challenge maps.
